a little about me

Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a creative marketing professional with a Master's in PR & Advertising and experience across social media, content, campaigns and brand communications.

I’ve built a growing freelance client base working with authors and small businesses on everything from content strategy and campaign ideas to social content, newsletters and branded assets. I love getting to know a client, understanding their vision and what they want their brand to communicate, then finding creative ways to bring that to life.

I’m originally from California, but over the past few years I’ve lived in Madrid, London and now Scotland. Getting to live in different countries has given me a strong appreciation for how culture influences the way people communicate and the brands they connect with. It’s also exposed me to different styles, ideas and creative influences across advertising, design and fashion, all of which have found their way into my own work (and left me constantly craving food that requires booking a plane ticket).

I’m drawn to brands with personality and a strong sense of who they are, particularly across lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, fashion and travel.

I’m currently based near Edinburgh and available for freelance projects and full-time opportunities, both remote and in-person.

Outside of work, I’m usually planning a weekend away, reading a good book, hanging out with my kittens Pippa & Wallace or hunting down a good spicy margarita.
